Brief Bio
Dr. Mamadou H. Diallo is a scientist at the United States Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific in San Diego, California. He is a Science and Technology Manager and currently leading a number of United States Department of Defense research and development projects. He is a subject matter expert in a number of other United States Navy projects. He also contributes in inter-agency research programs within the United States Department of Defense providing assistance in proposal reviews, source selection committees, and technical oversight of funded projects. His research interests span across various areas including security, privacy, and trust in cloud and autonomic computing, big data, and Internet of Things (IoT), identity and access management (IdAM), secure computing, security requirements, trust management in decentralized applications, dependability in software architecture, and privacy policy languages. He is a lead inventor on multiple patent applications.

Brief Bio
Dr. Yousef FARHAOUI is Professor at Moulay Ismail University, Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, Morocco. Local Publishing and Research Coordinator, Cambridge International Academics in United Kingdom. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Security from Ibn Zohr University of Science. His research interests include learning, e-learning, computer security, big data analytics, and business intelligence. Farhaoui has three books in computer science. He is a coordinator and member of the organizing committee and also a member of the scientific committee of several international congresses, and is a member of various international associations. He has authored 4 Book and many Book Chapters with Reputed Publishers such as Springer and IGI. He is served as a Reviewer for IEEE, IET, Springer, Inderscience and Elsevier Journals. He is also the Guest Editor of many Journals with Wiley, Springer, Inderscience, etc. He has been the General Chair, Session Chair, and Panelist in Several Conferences. He is Senior Member of IEEE, IET, ACM and EAI Research Group.

SCOPE
Data breaches, which lead to a loss of privacy and confidentiality, are a daily occurrence, where adversaries attack consumers, corporations, and governments. Moreover, data breaches are growing tremendously due to the immense growth of the backbone of commerce and critical infrastructure, and interconnectivity of networks. The skills of adversaries are improving, and the number and severity of attacks are increasing, which make known security countermeasures suffer. While much research focuses on technical, business or compliance aspects, there is an increasing need for new security and privacy solutions to protect assets using other than traditional approaches.
This workshop aims to investigate novel techniques and approaches to data security and privacy. Researchers are encouraged to submit original research contributions in the following, but not exclusively limited, areas.
